Oh deviant Art... there was a time when I loved you. When the very though of being with you thrilled me. I could brows your vast expanses of talent and beauty with joy in my heart. There was a time when people posted something called art. Something that instilled me with inspiration.
But now you have fallen from grace. You have become sullied and dirty. And oh how you have betrayed me. My heart weeps at the sight of what you have become. No longer dose images of the muses grace your brilliant facade. No longer dose your window shine with the hard work of many. Now there is but dimly lit genitalia flaunted before my eyes. These poorly photographed and pix-elated images of underage exhibitionists burn my eyes with their foulness. I try to turn away but somehow my fond memories of the times we had call to me like a sirens song and I cannot escape.
These cruel images taken with so little care using digital cameras or, perish the thought, cell phones have corrupted your once honest and beautiful soul. Is there nothing on the internet that the dark hand of attention hungry teenage girls has not touched?
I weep bitterly for you DA. You who where once a true friend and confident. I have lost you to "them".
(Inspired after opening the main page of DA and finding no less then four images of peoples genitalia taken by themselves... poorly. If you want to make a debate about what is art and what is not I say a shot of your hand holding you penis is NOT art. Neither is a shot of just your muff. Art requires SOME context! Not just "This is me" "Hey look at my genitalia!" Just because it is a photo dose NOT make it art. Its like calling a wall a mural because it has paint on it. DA is becoming a dick/pussy waving forum.)
